Might have to go through the crates. Awe man…I agree that MC was annoying!!!!! Might want to run this through a vocal eliminator.

I was in the crowd. This was a life changing experience for me. BHDC 19 Feb Boris Brejcha. UL 08 Oct A So We Gwarn. Sista's Love - BPM. Nyabinghi Warriors - BPM. Maroon Strategies - BPM.

Shy Makku - BPM. Review: Here's something to set the pulse racing: a collaborative debut album on Sound Signature, no less from London broken beat veterans Dego and Kaidi Tatham.

As with their previous joint releases on Black, Rush Hour, Eglo and, of course, Sound Signature, it's the duo's love of rich, jazz-fuelled musicality, sun-kissed melodies and loose, languid rhythms that shines through.

There are naturally nods towards disco, boogie, jazz-funk, Afrobeat, hip-hop and classic "bruk", with a stellar cast list of guest musicians and vocalists swinging by to lend a hand. If Herbie Hancock decamped to Ladbroke Grove and made an album with Bugz in the Attic, it would probably sound like this. In our book, that's a very good thing indeed. Predictably, his first EP of is something of a delight, with "Preacher's Coming" delivering a typically eccentric, jazzy and soul-fired trip into sparse, gospel-fired deep house territory.

This being Theo, though, it's unlike any gospel house cut you'll have ever heard before, with various gospel samples handclaps, piano stabs, short vocal snippets riding a darting synth bassline and sparse-but-heavy beats. Arguably even better is "Gullah Guchee", a formidadly bass-heavy, intoxicating house interpretation of a Craig Huckaby-helmed crew spoken word number that also features a hand-clapped rhythm and African style chanting.

Happily, Parrish has also included Huckaby's sublime original version, too. SS 01 Feb Soichi Terada. Sounds From The Far East. Sun Showered - BPM. Hohai Beats - BPM. Good Morning - BPM. Purple Haze edit - BPM. Binary Rondo - 96 BPM. Review: For deep house diggers, Soichi Terada has long been a source of inspiration. While he's still active, it's the early '90s material he released on the Far East Recordings label - an imprint he founded soon after his graduation in - that most excites.

Following the re-release of his sublime hook-up with Nami Shimada, "Sunshower", Rush Hour has decided to put together this excellent retrospective. Compiled by self-confessed fan Hunee, Sounds From The Far East contains a mixture of hard-to-find Terada originals, collaborations, and tracks by fellow Far East Recordings artist Shinichiro Yokota, all in the label's trademark melody-rich, evocative deep house style.

Review: Munich-based Permanent Vacation perform their usual yearly ritual by serving up a bunch of essentials, with their seventh edition here including a whopping 25 tracks.

Kicking things off in style is Madrilian producer Pional's uplifting anthem "Tempest", label chief Benjamin Froehlich appears with "Drawn From Memory" which receives an evocative rework by French legend I:Cube, while German nu-disco heroine Perel is on point as always with the neon-lit "Angelika". You Are The Sun. He's in fine fettle on this tasty two-tracker, too - his first for long-serving Munich imprint Permanent Vacation. The 'Sun Up' mix that kicks off the single is glassy-eyed and melodious, with warming female vocal samples, twinkling piano motifs, looped synth stabs and electric guitar flourishes wrapping around a chunky groove.

In contrast, the 'Sun Down' mix sounds perfect for early evening outdoor dancing thanks to its alluring mix of flutering synthesizer motifs, squeezable synth-bass and deliciously dreamy chords. Theo Parrish. Sound Signature Sounds Volume 2.

Review: Unless you're one of those who spent copious amounts of cash on the CD version of this second Theo Parrish production compendium, the appearance of Sound Signature Sounds Vol 2 on digital download should be a cause for celebration.

Parrish is, of course, one of house music's true originals, and the quality of material on this eccentric trawl through his early s work never drops below outstanding.
