Both with the level of creativity, the level of how good the game looks and how good the music is! I can't wait to see this finished. I can't wait even more to play the demo! Rhyden Shuckle Kheen Member. Joined Apr 1, Posts 73 Age I absolutely love what has come out so far. All the little polishes from the menu icons changed into little portraits of their faces to the title cards that show up in certain areas really add a level of uniqueness that really kept me drawn in.
The only frustrating portion for me was the gym puzzles because they actually required you to use your brain and quite frankly I don't have one. I even checked the wiki and after browsing the current roster I still found very little I didn't like. I should probably mention that I'm a really big fan of New Zealand as well and I'm glad a region is being inspired off of it. I've visited Auckland and Rangitoto Island before. The urban and wild areas in NZ are quite breathtaking and EG does a pretty good job capturing the diversity and vastness of the area, even if it's only portrayed in a 2D top-down manner.
And of course, as a composer myself, I'd like to say props to Sean for making such a wonderful well-themed soundtrack to match and improve the experience of the game.
Keep at it guys, I'll be waiting for the next release! Oh, and here's my squad by the time I finished the demo. Spoiler: Squad. I just did a playthrough of this game, as you can see from my shiny new badge, and it looks amazing! I loved the gyms and their puzzles, but I did find it annoying how the puzzles reset every time I left the Gym. I feel like the player would not lose any content if the gym puzzle, once solved, would stay solved.
On the topic of the gyms, I found both leaders really challenging. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but if the game continues to be this challenging, it might discourage people to play it.
With that being said, the rest of the game was super enjoyable, especially the other side quests. I really loved playing this and can't wait for an update to be released. Joined Mar 23, Posts I once said this game has an odd screen size and it would be difficult to justify that size with the quality of mapping that would need to be done, and I was incredibly skeptical that it could be done.
I have to say now that I was completely wrong - while the screen size is indeed large, it's used perfectly and designed with the size in mind. I'm sure you guys get enough praise already, so I don't feel the need to repeat all that. Originally Posted by Luka S. Are there gonna be real Pokemon in it? Cypher DS. I look forward to seeing future updates! Hey everyone! So I've put together a subreddit where you can keep up with some more in-depth updates for the game, as well as create polls, fan art, and other things. In addition, here's the other stuff for the project if you want to follow! Originally Posted by.

Luka S. Age I'd recommend using a darker colour for the item list in the bag interface. Clashing with the light background like that, really makes it difficult to read.
The shadow helps, but not enough. Just make sure the font contrasts the background clearly. I also find the "overlapping" trees to look a little weird the way they are. They end abruptly when in contact with another. I'm sure you guys get enough praise already, so I don't feel the need to repeat all that. Originally Posted by Luka S.
